An award-winning composer / arranger / producer, Joe has been writing and producing music for more than 20 years. Since graduating from Berklee College of Music, he has been recognized nationally and internationally for his works.
His writing/producing credits include the Billboard Top 10 smash hit “Stay The Same” by Joey McIntyre (RIAA Certified Gold), Billboard Top 20 (USA) and #1 International hit “If You Were Mine” by Marcos Hernandez, an International first place “Cine Golden Eagle Award” for music scored to the film “Love One Another”, several 1st place awards in national songwriting competitions, and a number of regional and national awards for his work in advertising. In addition to running his own publishing and production company, Cristjen Music, Joe has penned and produced numerous songs as a staff writer for EMI Publishing since 1999. While Joe has a passion for working in his personal studio, Cristjen Music Studio, he’s always had a love for performing. He has performed on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show”, Entertainment Tonight, VH-1, and The Fox Network. He has opened for and shared the stage with many acts including: Earth, Wind & Fire, Grover Washington Jr., Barry Manilow, Al Jarreau, Paul Anka, The Beach Boys, Jerry Sienfeld, Sinbad, Regis Philbin, and Louis Anderson. At private events, Joe has performed for many notables, including: former President Bill Clinton, Peter Boyle (Young Frankenstein, Everybody Loves Raymond), former Vice-President Al Gore, Robert Redford, Senator Hillary Clinton, Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady and Stephen Sondheim to name a few. Joe resides in the Greater Boston area with his wife and children. |
